Very few reservoir simulation studies were carried out for the oil & gas fields of Eastern Europe. The importance of reservoir simulation for field evaluation and for proper reservoir management is well acknowledged, but the scarcity and poor quality of available data has prevented the operators from running advanced reservoir simulations. With the recent increase in 3D seismic acquisition activity and new logging campaigns, the necessary task of building dynamic reservoir models can be accomplished.
